Marlene & Gilbert // Wedding Highlight

It’s good to be in 2016! A Peachy Life Productions is going full steam ahead! We’ve added 5 brand new team members!

4-portraits-018Imani – Our former intern has become a full time editor for APL! We’re very excited to have the owner of Progressively Getting Better (PGB) on the team.

Julie – We’re happy to add a brand new videographer / editor to the core team, Julie! She’s currently in training and will be flying solo as a second main videographer later this month!

Bianca – A former star of one of our wedding films, Bianca has gracefully accepted the position of overseeing our social media work and getting fans of our facebook page engaged with many of our wedding related posts. She’s awesome!

Rachel – Another videographer, but from Pennsylvania! She’s  joined the team as a part time editor and we couldn’t be luckier to have someone as talented as Rachel. Check out her website to see her work.

Olivia – Queen of A Peachy Life Productions, Olivia is learning to edit and will be helping us out with the massive load of editing that will need to be completed this year! There’s just nothing like working with your spouse! I love it!

1-preparation-109Now onto our latest and greatest wedding highlight! Marlene and Gilbert’s wedding happened back in 2015, a year of growth for the company, but it was certainly one of our all time favorites! Marlene was recommended to us by our good friends Bianca and Patrick (look out for their cameo in the film).

The one thing I enjoyed most about observing Marlene and Gilbert is just how natural they seemed to be throughout the day. They weren’t distracted by the stress of making sure everything happened according to the timeline, nor were they too concerned with keeping with tradition. They had a first look and read their own vows…plus their wedding was out doors! Perfect combination!

Marlene was a beautiful bride and Gilbert a cheerful and comedic groom. It was a delight working with them and editing their film. One of the other best parts of the day was getting to work with the masterful Angel Noh (He). As a human being, she’s one of a kind, as a photographer, you’d be hard pressed to find someone more talented and hard working!

2016 will see a lot more blog posts about more than featuring wedding highlights! I’ll also have a few guests contributing to the blog. I can’t wait! Until then, please enjoy Marlene & Gilbert’s wedding highlight film!
